Mission: World Record Camps is committed to creating a safe, positive, and respectful environment where all participants can learn, grow, and reach their full potential. This Code of Conduct applies to all campers, coaches, staff, and visitors.
1. RESPECT AND BEHAVIOR
All participants must:
Treat all fellow participants, coaches, staff, and guests with courtesy, kindness, and respect
Use appropriate language at all times - no profanity, vulgar language, or inappropriate jokes
Show respect for individual differences, including race, ethnicity, religion, gender, and ability level
Listen attentively when coaches and staff are speaking
Accept coaching and feedback with a positive attitude
Encourage and support fellow campers
2. ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY
The following behaviors will NOT be tolerated and may result in immediate dismissal without refund:
Bullying: Physical, verbal, or emotional harassment of any kind
Discrimination: Any form of discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or ability
Violence: Physical altercations, fighting, or threatening behavior
Unsafe Behavior: Intentional actions that endanger oneself or others
Disrespect: Blatant disrespect toward coaches, staff, or fellow campers
Substance Use: Possession or use of alcohol, drugs, tobacco, or vaping products
3. SAFETY AND SUPERVISION
Campers must remain with their assigned group at all times
Campers are NOT permitted to leave camp grounds without staff approval and parent/guardian permission
Any injury, illness, or concern must be reported immediately to a coach or staff member
Follow all safety instructions and use equipment properly
Wear appropriate athletic clothing and footwear
Stay hydrated and take breaks when needed
4. PUNCTUALITY AND PARTICIPATION
Arrive on time for all scheduled sessions and activities
Come prepared with proper gear, water bottle, and positive attitude
Participate fully in all camp activities to the best of your ability
Notify staff in advance if you need to miss any portion of camp
5. CONCUSSION AND MEDICAL PROTOCOL
In the event of a suspected concussion, cardiac event, or serious injury, the participant will be immediately removed from activity
Return to participation requires written clearance from a licensed medical professional
Never hide or downplay injuries - your safety is our top priority
6. TECHNOLOGY AND DEVICES
Cell phones and electronic devices should be silenced during training sessions
Social media posts must be respectful and appropriate
Do not take or share photos/videos of other campers without permission
Staff reserve the right to confiscate devices that disrupt camp activities
7. PERSONAL PROPERTY
World Record Camps is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property
Label all personal belongings with your name
Do not bring valuable items unnecessarily
Respect others' personal property - do not touch or use items that don't belong to you
8. SPORTSMANSHIP
Demonstrate good sportsmanship in all activities
Celebrate your own success while respecting others
Support teammates and competitors alike
Accept outcomes gracefully - winning and losing with dignity
Focus on personal improvement and effort, not just results
9. FACILITY RESPECT
Treat all facilities, equipment, and grounds with respect
Clean up after yourself - dispose of trash properly
Report any damage to staff immediately
Use restrooms and locker rooms appropriately
10. DISCIPLINARY ACTION
Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in:
Warning: Verbal warning and parent/guardian notification
Time-Out: Temporary removal from activity with reflection period
Parent Conference: Meeting with parent/guardian to address behavior
Dismissal: Removal from camp without refund for serious or repeated violations
World Record Camps reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or incompatible with our mission and values.
